Vote Defender collects only the minimum data necessary to provide our services. This may include your email address (if you create an account), general location (when you use the map), and information you voluntarily submit such as incident reports or service requests. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes — ever.

Reports submitted through our platform can be made anonymously. We apply GPS scattering to protect the precise location of reporters. No personally identifiable information is required to submit an incident report or service request.

Location data is used solely to display nearby incidents on the map and to attach a location to reports you choose to submit. Your location is never tracked in the background, never stored beyond a specific action you initiate, and never shared with advertisers.

If you create an account, your email address and encrypted password are stored securely through Supabase Auth, a SOC 2 Type II compliant authentication provider. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

When you use the Tía Lupe AI assistant, your messages may be processed by ElevenLabs and Anthropic to generate responses. Audio from voice conversations is not permanently stored on our servers. We do not use your conversations to train AI models without explicit consent.

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — no individual tracking. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Session data is stored locally in your browser or on-device storage.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@votedefender.com.
